‘There Will Come Soft Rains,’ a piece by Ivo Antognini, highlights a concert which takes listeners through the journey of nightfall, through darkness, and into a new day. Evoking images of nature reclaiming a battlefield after war, the poem by Sara Teasdale draws parallels to the dawn, which breathes new hope and life into darkness.
Join us as we wrestle with themes of light and dark, despair and hope, and all types of beauty.
